The plan for tonight is 8 miles.  This week I'm shaking things up a little.  The last two weeks my program was 6, 7, 8, 9 miles.  This week it's going to be 6, 8, 7, 9.  I don't want my muscles getting into a rut.  Oh, and yeah, I normally run at night.  A headlamp and reflective vest are normal running wear for me.  I feel naked without them.

Last night's 6 miler was pretty awesome even if the time doesn't show it.  At several intersections I had to stop and wait for cars.  Not just one or two cars either.  Lots of them.  So weird for the little town I run in.  The weather was great.  At the time I ran it was 37 degrees with no wind.  It felt really warm compared to those sub-zero windchill runs I was doing a month ago.

My wife made baked chicken and cornbread for dinner with an awesome salad that included baby lettuce, spinach and kale.  Cornbread is my carb of choice any day of the week :)  Lunch today might be leftover chicken diced up on a salad.  Dinner tonight is on my own since by the time I get home my wife and daughters will be at church.  I'll have to see how creative I can get.

So, what's up with you all?  Any running plans for today?  If you ran yesterday was it awesome?

Good idea to mix it up! I am going to run today but not sure of the distance at this point. Usually it is 3-4 during the week. Have a great day!

LOL. Had some cornbread with lunch. Apparently I need more carbs before I run. Tried a new fueling strategy today of a bigger, carb rich lunch and dinner will be smaller and lighter. We'll see how that works out tonight.
